Preparation
- Pat the steak cubes dry with paper towels so the marinade clings better.
- Whisk soy sauce, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, onion powder, smoked paprika, and black pepper in a small bowl until combined.
- Place the steak cubes in the crockpot in an even layer. Pour the marinade over the steak and toss gently to coat all pieces.
- Dot the meat with the small butter pieces so they melt into the sauce as it cooks.
Cooking
- Cover and cook on low for 4 to 5 hours, or on high for 2 to 3 hours, until the pieces are tender and the sauce is glossy.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
