Preparation
- Mince the garlic and slice the green onions. Whisk honey, soy sauce, and rice vinegar together in a small bowl.
Cooking
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the neutral oil.
- Add the ground turkey. Break it up with a spatula and let it brown undisturbed for about 2 minutes.
- Stir and continue cooking until there is no pink left, about 5 to 7 minutes total.
- Push the turkey to one side of the skillet. Add the minced garlic to the empty space and stir for 20 to 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Mix the garlic into the turkey. Pour the honey-soy mixture over the meat.
- Let the sauce simmer 2 to 3 minutes until it reduces and coats the turkey. If using, stir in sesame oil and red pepper flakes now. Taste and adjust seasoning.
- Remove from heat, sprinkle with sliced green onions, and let rest for a minute so the glaze can thicken. Serve immediately.

Notes
Cool leftovers within two hours and store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3 to 4 days. Reheat gently in a skillet over medium heat until steaming, or microwave in 30 second bursts. If freezing, place cooled turkey in a freezer-safe container for up to 3 months. Thaw overnight in the refrigerator before reheating.
