  • 2 tablespoons honey

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced fresh garlic enhances taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup cooked rice white or brown
Vegetable Toppings
  • 1 cup steamed broccoli
  • 1 piece carrot, sliced
  • 2 pieces green onions, chopped reserve some for garnish
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a small bowl, mix the honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic until well combined.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
Cooking
  1. Add the shrimp to the skillet. Cook until they turn pink, approximately 3-4 minutes.
  2. Pour the honey garlic sauce over the shrimp and toss to ensure they are evenly coated. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fully cooked through.
