Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish that fits the chicken in a single layer.
- In a medium bowl, whisk honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, olive oil, and a pinch of salt and pepper until smooth.
- Place the chicken breasts in the prepared dish. Pour the honey garlic sauce evenly over them and turn each breast to coat.
Cooking
- Bake uncovered for 25 to 30 minutes. Use an instant-read thermometer to check; the internal temperature should reach 165°F (75°C).
- For a deeper caramel color, switch the oven to broil and broil the chicken for 1 to 2 minutes while watching closely.
Finishing
- Remove from the oven and let the chicken rest for 5 minutes. Spoon any pan sauce over the breasts and garnish with chopped parsley if using.
